Markets at Christmas
Thursday, December 3, 2020
Check off every item on your grocery list with our visit to the St. Jacobs Market. The Market is a much loved Waterloo Region tradition. Home to the largest population of Old Order Mennonites in Canada, you'll often see farmers on the local roads as they travel to the market by horse and buggy. Today's included buffet lunch will be at the Crossroads Restaurant. It tastes like the food your grandmother made; and don't forget to have some homemade dessert! Our last stop is Kitchener's Christkindl Market. Christmas markets are a 700 year old German tradition. Kitchener's Christkindl Market is a rare and authentic glimpse of timeless Christmas tradition.
