Fall Colour Explorer
Monday, September 28, 2020
There's so much to explore in Ontario and no better time than in the fall when the landscape colour changes. Our scenic drive will be on beautiful Highway 7 to our provinces hidden gem, Marmora. We will visit Canadian Wildlife artist Ron Plaizier. Ron won first place at the Buckhorn Art Festival in 2012 and 2016 and the Ducks Unlimited Canada National Art Portfolio in 2018. At the birthplace of Ontario's Mining industry, Marmora Lake is 75 acres wide and 635 ft deep as a result of its mining history. The view is spectacular with rich blue and turquoise water. Lunch will be included at the Iron Rooster, the most popular spot for locals and visitors to the area. We will conclude our day with a visit to Mapledale Cheese. Established by local dairy farmers and continues today handcrafted from 100 percent farm fresh Canadian milk. It's a day packed with Canadian treasures!
