Join us to kick start the Christmas season with this two day tour to Petrolia. Upon arrival in Sarnia we will enjoy an included lunch at DeGroot's Tea Room. After lunch you will enjoy an included visit to the Oil Museum of Canada. The site preserves the site of the first commercial oil well in North America dug by James Miller Williams in 1858. While visiting you can immerse yourself into the historical facts that started the modern petroleum industry. We will then see where the magic happens at the Victoria Playhouse for a Back of the House tour! Get freshened up at the Sunbridge Hotel where we will spend the night. Enjoy an included dinner at the hotel. Stuffed like a turkey we depart for the historic Victoria Playhouse, where twinkling lights on snow-covered Christmas trees fill the stage for their production of Starbright Christmas. Christmas beings with Starbright! Originating at the Stratford Festival Theatre, this Christmas pageant features a mix of professional actors coupled with community choirs. Starbright is known for its beautiful snow-covered sets on stages, glamourous glittering costumes, and amazing vocal talent. On our second day we head to the Elm Hurst Inn for an occasion to remember; their famous Sunday Brunch. As we continue our journey homeward, we will visit Chocoltea and Wine & Cheese Cellar in Ingersoll for a talk and tasting. Anyone looking for some Christmas spirit, this tour is where you will find it.
