Join us on a once-in-a-lifetime journey to the Yukon Territory for an authentic northern Canada winter experience. Our base will be Whitehorse - a city not only rich in gold rush history, but widely considered to be one of best places in the world to witness the elusive Aurora Borealis. Far from city lights, we'll spend three nights watching the night sky light up around a campfire with snacks and warm drinks. Local guides will teach us about the history of the gold rush, and we'll learn about the settlers who built the Yukon, as well as the First Nations who have inhabited the land long before that. We'll stay at The Best Western Gold Rush Inn in Whitehorse and in addition to Aurora Borealis viewing, some highlights include a Whitehorse city tour, SS Klondike National Historic Site, a Yukon Wildlife tour, a dog sledding excursion, and a guided snowmobiling tour! This tour also includes all flights, airport transfers, accommodations, a winter clothing package, 4 breakfasts, 4 dinners & nightly snacks for Aurora viewing, along with all activities listed in the itinerary.
