The Kentucky Derby is one of America's most celebrated sporting events. While there is a horse race at the heart of this spectacle, there are many other intriguing traditions. It's about Fashion, Bourbon, Horses, Mint Juleps and Riverboats and it's about time you check it off your Bucket List! ACTIVITY LEVEL: VERY ACTIVE - on the day of the Derby we will arrive at Churchill Downs in the late morning and be there until the final race around 7:30-8PM (subject to schedule changes). You will also have the opportunity to walk around the facilities and take in the festivities. For an event this size we will also not be able to get our bus directly into the grounds for pickup or dropoff so we may be required to walk to and from the bus parking. Prepare for a walk of up to 15 minutes. If you have mobility issues this may be a hindrance.
