You don't need to travel to France to visit a Lavender farm. There's no better place than Stonewell Lavender Farm in our beautiful province of Ontario. As lavender prefers a well drained rocky soil, their farm on top of the Niagara Escarpment is perfect for lavender. We will enjoy a tour and talk about the farm before your chance to purchase some unique hand crafted products from their lavender store. An included lunch will be at one of the most unique restaurants in Canada, the Aberfoyle Mill. Built in 1859 this grist mill won a gold metal for its oatmeal at the world's fair in 1867. What a better way to conclude our day, a homemade strawberry dessert at Springridge Farm and time to browse the Barn Shoppe and Front Porch Bakery before we depart for home. As a special treat we have included a quart of the bright red, sweet juicy strawberries for each passenger to take home.
