Autumn is a beautiful time of year and it's a great time to celebrate the cranberry harvest season in Bala! You will visit Muskoka Farm & Winery for a wagon ride around the colourful fall foliage and the cranberry marsh, learning the history of the business before we stop and have a tutored wine tasting experience and a sip of their legendary cranberry wine. After, if you dare, you can do the Cranberry Plunge in which you will venture into the cranberry bog with hip waders and immerse yourself up to your knees in cranberries. What a picture that would be! (Note: You can opt out of the Plunge and go look around the gift shop or sit and just enjoy the autumn day. Moon River Lookout Restaurant at Bala Falls will be our stop for lunch. Following lunch take note Chocolate Lovers! You will be treated to a unique experience when visit the Artisan Chocolate SHOP, Cacao Boys Chocolate Shop. Learn about chocolate making, sample the delicious morsels and perhaps indulge in a little chocolate retail therapy.
