Join us on a 12 day journey to two of Canada's most northern territories, the Yukon and the Northwest Territories. Explore the Arctic Circle during the Summer Solstice and experience the midnight sun! Journey through grasslands and boreal forests, by lakes and rivers, and learn the ways of the north from the people who have always been there. Drive on the iconic Dempster Highway, stop at the Arctic Circle Monument, visit the Inuit community of Tuktoyaktuk on the Arctic Coast and a traditional Inuit whaling base in the Mackenzie River delta. Along the way experience many cultural displays, and make memories that will stay with you forever. Spend time in Whitehorse, a city that blends First Nation Culture, gold rush history, interesting museums and an energetic, creative vibe all with a stunning wilderness backdrop. Visit Dawson City, an eclectic and vibrant northern community on the banks of the Yukon River with many interesting cultural spots. Uncover the beauty of Inuvik, known as the Land of the Midnight Sun and home to northern arts and culture, remote rivers and wilderness and arctic wildlife. Finish in Yellowknife - a place where traditional indigenous culture blends together with modern amenities, for a truly remarkable experience. This tour includes all transfers to the airport and to/from all included activities, all flights, accommodations, breakfast daily, four lunches, six dinners and the services of a Cardinal/Lakeshore Tour Director.
